Blame :iconuchiha-kiko: for getting me MAJORLY HOOKED on the Avatar series (yeep, now that's going to come in huge amounts of fanart ^^; maybe)

 

ANYWAYS, I now have not one, but TWO jobs, so I may not be on here NEARLY as much (but I do try don't I?) Good news, I'll probably go to Otakon this year, just simply because I'll have the money to. Bad news is now that I finally started submitting stuff, it'll become even less once again (sorry guys ^^; ).

 

AS for the doujinshi, The Secret Admirer, I finally got to my last page that I had made before loosing inspiration on the thing altogether. To put it shortly, It will not update until further notice. Even then, it won't be weekly anymore simply because I can NOT guarantee inspiration for it. :iconletmehugyouplz:

Excellent quality, great prices and AWESOME customer service, seriously, GO! They may have taken a little while to get the costume finished since they start making it RIGHT when you make the payment and tell them your size, but the shipping takes A WEEK. Quite literally. Though I would be careful of measurements because they are BANG ON with measurements, so if you go to the EXACT MEASUREMENT of yourself and don't leave any room, they WILL make it form fitting. That's nice for the form fitting cosplays, like my Utena Tenjou one.

I'd wear their clothing outside of conventions. No joke the material is basically cotton (or the closest thing TO cotton). Their wigs are excellent and good quality as well. I've had nothing but good experiences from this particular company.

WOW, really wow. their stuff comes on time, OR EVEN REALLY EARLY! Amazing service and on top of that, I've had many items from here come in weeks earlier than they've implied on their site. The wigs are perfect quality AND they come with good hairnets that ACTUALLY WORK!

I am me.
I draw mostly anime style, with the occasional pin-ups. I HATE drawing backgrounds... because I'm terrible at them. I also like to cosplay, not as frequently as some, but I still enjoy dressing as a different character, and playing the role as their character for the day. It's fun once I really get into it, and most of my cosplays are makeshift, aside from the odd few that I've purchased for the purpose of that particular cosplay.

Yeah, good idea, though I'm warning you now, nothing is hiring full-time. Hence why I have two part-time jobs at the moment (Though I am stoked on the 7-eleven one because of the people I'll be working with and the benefits included). You might just want to find something first BEFORE doing anything else (not that you're not smart enough to do that anyways, just warning you because quite a few of my friends are having harsh times finding work).

Funny, I got another job. Part-time down at the 7-Eleven just two buildings down from the place I work at now. I'm working at both until I start attending school. The 7-11 job is guaranteed part-time and not only that, but it has benefits no matter HOW many shifts/hours I get a week. Once I see how the schedule works for school, I'll figure out how work will go, I need to at least try before I give up.

If my schooling is too much to have a job on top of it, I have student loans as well, I'm trying to make it so I can have a choice between having a job and going to school and just going to school. I can't just drop school, I don't want to be constantly changing from one minimum wage job to the next. School comes first once September comes around...

yeah no problem! Good luck with the job searching. Retail sucks some serious ass. that's for sure.

And be careful with school and work, I had that problem where I thought I was able to work and go to school and that was sadly a bullshit lie. Cause Camosun sucks major fucking balls.

They have the classes for lectures then you have a two hour ish work shop that you HAVE to attend or youll fail.. so pretty much I would have had to quit work, and I couldn't afford that..

LOL, Yeah, going for an interview today at the 7-Eleven right across from my new job, I'll work both for a while until I find out if it's just temporary or not, then once I find that out, that'll be the determining factor of quitting the retail, or just having the part-time hours and be in school (the time when hours will not matter so much).

I've been looking, but I never thought of the liquor stores, I should check that out! Thanks for the tip!

Yeah retail is bruuutal. Especially after Christmas! Are you looking for a new job? I would if I were you, at least just keep an eye out. Retail is just no fun. Shitty hours, shitty people, shitty money. Check some liquor stores, always hiring (more partaaaays)

I check my DA once a day pretty much, basically because if I don`t my inbox gets ridiculously full of crap. ANYWAYS, everything is doing well, VERY GLAD you warned me on the whole hours of retail thing, otherwise I would have not been prepared like I have been there would be sometimes when I would have been completely fucked with no bus (lol friends living close to work is helpful ^^;)

I've dealt with some pretty shitty ppl who'll do just about anything to get under my skin and in my life. I never really know who's just a random person or someone who...
